Top 15 Hip Hop Artists of 2000’s

6. T.I. Top 15 Hip Hop Artists

Rubber band man as can be seen, T.I. enter at number 6 on the top 15 Hip Hop artists chart. Clifford Harris Jr., in my opinion, is the one of the influential Hip Hop artist from the south. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, most noteworthy known for producing mega artists in music world. T.I. signed his first major label deal with LaFace Records in 1998. By 2002, he moved to Atlantic Records with his own record Grand Hustle Records, which was accelerated in 2003. Mostly everyone during this time knew the boss as trap star alone with Jeezy, Trick Daddy, and Gucci Mane.

T.I. released his second solo project Trap Muzik. Trap Muzik took off by selling over 2 million copies most of all, debuted at number 4 on the charts. After rising to the top at number 2, the album became certified platinum. Hits single such as “24’s”, Rubber Band Man”, and “Be Easy” had south going wild. This was the time while everyone wanted to ride around with big rim and flashy paint with their cars or truck. David Banner out of Mississippi produced the “Rudder Band Man” single and was the second single off the album.

Urban Legend really made the Atlanta Hip Hop artists a star and it charted at number one on the Top Rap Album list. Songs like “Bring Em Out”, “ASAP”, “Chillin with My Bitch”, “Stand Up”, and “My Life” where all great classic hits. Producers from this masterpiece were DJ Toomp, Sanchez Holmes, Jazze Pha, Mannie Fresh, The Neptune’s, David Banner, Scott Storch and Daz Dillinger. I really playing this album on my I-pod deployed to Iraq. I played Trap Muzik and Urban Legend over and over to get by the deployment.
